Our Homelessness Action stream works with families and individuals within the Hutt region that are in need of a rental.
This service is in partnership with Hutt City Council as part of their response to homelessness in the Hutt Valley. It is a collective approach with other organisations in the region - Tuatahi specifically works with landlords and investors to establish and support our whanau/aiga into sustainable tenancies
Outcome and aims
Everyone has the right to a safe, dry and warm home that is affordable. Our navigators work with whanau and individuals to help them into long-term sustainable tenancies, but also develop plans to prevent homelessness occurring again.
